Prega News brings to you an amazing platform where the goddesses of our neighbourhood can showcase their talents to become ‘Parar Doshobhuja’. We are inviting all the Puja Committees to nominate the most talented women from their localities.

PARAR DOSHOBHUJA

Prega News undertakes a journey into Rural Bengal to educate women about the new strength they have in hand with Prega News.

Prega News Parar Doshobhuja competition will allow women from Rural Bengal to come ahead during the festive season and showcase their unique talent and get the title of their town’s Doshobhuja.

This title will be accompanied with an attractive gift for all the winners from respective locations.

COMPETITION

• The Prega News Parar Doshobhuja contest is limited to selected Barowari pujos of North Kolkata, South Kolkata, South 24 Parganas (Baruipur/ Sonarpur), North 24 Parganas (Barasat), Howrah, Hooghly, Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Berhampur, Malda & Siliguri.

• Prega News Parar Doshobhuja contest will allow only women participants showcasing their unique talent for the title of Prega News Parar Doshobhuja

• Participants have to showcase their talent on the basis of below mentioned criteria:
– Bengali Song
– Recitation
– Dance
– Dhunuchi Dance
– Acting
– Playing the Dhaak

• Judging will be done on 10 points (5 points for performance & 5 points for Q & A)

• Evaluation dates for each location will be announced along with judge visit timing

Rules

Competition is valid for only women participants between 18-45 years of age. Each club can register minimum 5 & maximum of 20 women participants.
Notice

Last date of registration is 19th October 2023. Judging dates for individual location will be announced along with judge visit timing.
